Mary Kaliff gave an update of the week. Issues pertaining to CalSouth sanctioning options were discussed. It looks like we will be temporarily under the Nomads Soccer League sanctioning until we can get Clubs committed to this organization, when at which time we will create an independent non-profit incorporated company with an official BOD and apply for independent sanctioning through CalSouth.
A schedule of scrimmages between top clubs was presented - January 6th through January 12th - the purpose is for State Cup preparation.
Nomads offered to host a training night where teams will compete in 10 min each way games. Interested teams, please contact Derek Armstrong at 858-349-0869.
Discussions were held about Coast Soccer League South, Presidio, Y-League, and US Club Soccer.
Copies of the draft Rules and Regulations were distributed for review.
A "NO POACHING" rule will be incorporated in to these rules.
Meetings will be held on Wednesday 13th October and 20th October at the Handlery Hotel. We ask that teams that are committed to this organization please call Mary Kaliff as soon as possible at 858-692-8720.
Membership dues per Club will be $250. This allows you to put a representative on the Executive Board and enter teams in to our events. Team entry fees will be determined later but will be comparible to a tournament entry fee.
